Chynna Holder

Chynna Holder is a New York–based dancer and performer. She began her movement training as a competitive gymnast, developing early strength, musicality, and spatial awareness that later shaped her approach to dance. Chynna trained extensively in contemporary and modern dance, including study with the Martha Graham School, where she deepened her relationship to grounded, expressive movement. She continued her training at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied dance alongside acting and performance, integrating movement with emotional and narrative expression. Her performance experience includes work with DanceKerr & Dancers as a guest performer, as well as featured and guest appearances in contemporary works and interdisciplinary projects. Chynna’s movement quality is marked by physical precision, emotional depth, and a strong theatrical sensibility rooted in her acting background. She is excited to continue expanding her artistic voice through performance, collaboration, and ongoing training.
