Madelaine Burnett

MADELAINE BURNETT began her dance training in Vancouver, BC, Canada. In 2015, she began her studies in the Ailey School’s Scholarship Program under the mentorship of Kanji Segawa. She became a member of Graham 2 in 2018, where she performed principal and soloist roles in The Owl and the Pussycat (The Pussycat), Diversion of Angels (The Woman in Yellow), El Penitente (Mary), and many more. Madelaine was featured in Canada’s Dance International Magazine for her role in Alison Cook Beatty Dance’s work “Echoes of War,” and she recently performed the company’s repertory in “BC to NYC – A Dance Journey,” her solo performance raising funds for cancer research. Madelaine is also the feature dancer in House of Spirits NYC, and she currently dances with the Taylor Outreach Ensemble. She is a Royal Academy of Dance certified Ballet teacher and earned her Graham Technique teaching certification from the Martha Graham School. This is her third season with Alison Cook Beatty Dance. @maddsthebads
