TOMISLAV NEVISTIĆ began his professional dance training in Laban technique at the School of Contemporary Dance Ana Maletic in Zagreb, Croatia. After receiving an Oscar for knowledge in dance, he moved to New York to study at The Ailey School and Martha Graham School, where he also obtained teacher certification in the Graham technique. Tomislav then became a member of Martha Graham’s second company, Graham 2, where he performed roles in Martha Graham’s works Secular Games, Acts of Light, Diversion of Angels, Owl and The Pussycat, and many more. This is his first season with Alison Cook Beatty Dance. He had opportunities to tour and perform at venues and theaters such as GreenSpace, KnJ Theater at Peridance Center, Gibney, Arts on Site, Windhover Center for Performing Arts, Connecticut Arts Center, and many more. Tomislav is also currently dancing for Ziel Dance Theater and iDance Ministry and has been selected as one of the emerging choreographers for Mare Nostrum Elements.
