Here:\nhttps://alisoncookbeattydance.networkforgood.com/…/4183…\n\nWe invite you to join us virtually on Sunday\, April 10th\, at 7 PM for a prerecorded performance featuring three collaborative works by Stanislav and Alison with talking points about each unique creative process between choreographer and composer\, including “Song Of Thunder” (2019)\, “From My Window To Yours” (2020)\, and “Beat-léro” (2021).\n\nAfter the virtual performance\, we invite all audience members to join Alison and Stanislav for a LIVE Question and Answer event on Zoom.\n\n\nTickets are free but registration here is necessary.\n\nIn lieu of ticket sale purchases please donate to our fundraiser for Ukraine here (at check-out when buying a free ticket\, or by clicking the donate button on the event page) in which 100% of the donations from our dance community event will be donated to the Voices of Children Foundation which has been helping children affected by the war since 2015. Today\, during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine\, the Voices of Children Foundation is providing non-stop assistance to affected children and families from all over the country\, providing emergency psychological assistance\, and assisting in the evacuation process.\n\nPhoto credit: Paul B. (646) 837-6809 Studio H/ Theater\n\nIn addition to performing compositions currently in the repertoire\, the Company will show “Echoes In Time” a Work In Progress that will premiere in Fall 2022.\n\n“From Concept to Production; in the RAW: An Evening with Alison Cook Beatty Dance” will begin at 7:30 PM with a reception of complimentary drinks. Artwork from friends\, such as Carol Davis’s sketches from our recent show of ARTISTS IN MOTION MINI\, costume designer sketches from Larissa Shirley King\, Alison’s choreographic journal entries\, and items that inspired these dances will be on display until 8 PM.\n\nThe program begins at 8 pm and will include an inside look at the concepts and methods in which the dances were crafted and also the tools that Alison used to create these works. Alison and the dancers will demonstrate these concepts and show the process leading up to each work itself.\n\nThe program will be\, “Echoes Of War” a WORK IN PROGRESS\, “One More Day” and “Absurd Heroes”\, both recent New Works.
